Welcome Students in Canadian Midwifery Education Programs

This site provides information about the regulation of midwifery in Canada’s provinces and territories. In particular, you can find information about the Canadian Midwifery Registration Examination, which will be required for registration in most jurisdictions as of 2008, and the Canadian Competencies for Midwives that provides an outline of the competencies required of all entry-level midwives in Canada.
